About Me

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I draw from my Masters training in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine from the University of Western States, as well as my background in premedical sciences at University of Southern California and undergraduate medical genetics research at Duke University.  In addition to formal training, I spent over three years shadowing an expert in nutrition and colon hydrotherapy where I learned how the gut, nutrition, and lifestyle each played a role in aging, disease, and recovery. My curiosity about the human body and its ability to heal also led me to explore various traditional healing systems. I wrote an extensive thesis on the healing powers of the thermal spas in France, sought counsel from a traditional Balinese shaman, learned about herbal remedies with a practitioner in the Balinese jungle, and utilized Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture to successfully heal various ailments.  A unifying theme in all these age-old healing systems is the role of nourishing foods, and as such I seek to teach others to use food as a way to prevent illness and help their body function optimally.

The scientific evidence for eating whole foods to ward off disease and aging has never been more robust, but the overwhelming amount of information available can also make a foray into the wellness world daunting.  Nutrition, however, is the basis of all wellness. I guide my clients to live well through the cultivation of intuitive, whole-food, and plant-focused eating.  I believe in helping the body heal itself from the inside-out, addressing root causes and adapting what we eat and how we live to restore balance in the soul, spirit, environment, and physical body.  My individualized eating and lifestyle plans along with my honest, loving support enable my clients to shift their habits for lifelong betterment.  My goal is that my clients walk away feeling empowered, enlightened, and supported, knowing how to use the tools we implement together to re-align themselves with ease.

My childhood in Southern California and summers in France with my French grandparents have cultivated a deep love of quality food and the culinary arts. I love exploring new restaurants, learning where the food comes from, and celebrating those who create dishes with love and intention. I spend my free time (not) following recipes, exploring farmers’ markets, doing yoga, developing my green thumb in the garden, traveling to Bali and France, swimming at the beach, listening to podcasts on spiritual and personal growth, and spending joyful moments with loved ones. Moving from Los Angeles to Charleston in 2021, I now live in Columbia, South Carolina, with my husband and two dogs.

I look forward to meeting you along your wellness journey.
